Wisconsin Trip.

I just got home from being out at my boyfriend's grandmother's house out in Brule, Wisconsin, near Duluth.
I will DEFINITELY be going back not only to visit his epic family, but to also use the amazingly cool locations that absolutely scream photo shoot!

I had the privilege to sleep in the antique room :)))
 ...just because I love food.
Wish I was stylin like this pooch!

Where Terrence's Grandma went to school... TOTALLY coming back for photos :)
And since malls don't exactly exist around home, we hit up the Duluth mall!
These would happen to be my fav new boots.
 And new glasses.

Happily. Ever. After.

"Life for you has been less than kind,
So take a number, stand in line.
We've all been sorry, we've all been hurt...
but how we survive
is what makes us who we are."

-Rise Against

I see it all too often, no matter where I go...
...to school, on Facebook, out in the world...
Whenever something goes wrong in a person's life
They long. They cry. They feel.
They question. They struggle. They die inside.
But, we are human.
It's okay to fall apart, absence of emotions wouldn't give you any kind of superiority. God designed us as lovers, and when something goes missing from your life, grieving is supposed to happen.I personally think the more you let yourself feel, the better, as long as you learn from the loss.

What many don't see is that everything truly is part of God's master plan for us. Without death, there wouldn't be life. Without hate, there wouldn't be love. Without tears, there wouldn't be smiles.
So when we lose something dearly close to us, whether it's through a break-up, a death, or even losing a treasured item, we must see through that God made it happen for a reason. God is good, he only wants to teach us to live happily, strong, and be at peace with ourselves and others.

There was a time in my life where I wanted to fall off the Earth. I really do feel bad for my friends and family that watched me go through it, for it was nothing they could stop, it was something that I, myself, had to save myself from.
You have to kind of die inside in order to rise again from your ashes and believe in yourself and love yourself and your world I came to realize. God does save all, and if you dream that there are brighter days, there will be if you keep believing.

As Rise Against says, "how we survive is what makes us who we are." Strength truly is born from the darker times in our days, we have to pucker up the bravery and rediscover the power of our hearts to keep moving on. We can be so much more than just human. We can be our own individual.

There is a happily ever after out there
for each and every one of us.

All the Small Things

"You've only got one life to lead,
So don't take for granted those little things; Those little things are all that we have."

To me, family is one of those small things
that makes your whole world spin round.

Gotta love little cousins :)
...and for some reason, these photos just won't rotate.
